DESCRIPTION:ArtsUp SC\, in partnership with the Hub City Writers Project and Bookshop\, presents Unbound Voices: A Theatrical Encounter with Literature—a dynamic\, theater-in-the-round experience that brings literature to life in surprising and thought-provoking ways. Through performance\, mystery\, and dialogue\, the event aims to spark meaningful conversations about censorship\, identity\, and the role of literature in shaping cultural empathy. \nProfessional actors will perform dramatized passages from powerful book without revealing the titles. Following the readings\, an engaging dialogue will happen between the audience and a panel of local literary experts. The experts will be asked to share the themes of the passage\, why they selected it\, and invite attendees to guess the book’s identity.
