SUMMARY:Meditation Retreat with Richard Fabio
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to welcome Richard Fabio\, RYT-500\, to lead a full day of meditation at the Arts Up SC Gallery on Saturday August 8 from 9:30-5pm. Richard is a fabulous instructor out of Asheville\, NC. He teaches regular classes\, leads yoga-teacher trainings\, and guides weekly meditations in-person and online.    \nThe meditation retreat is comprised of six 40 minute stillness sessions.  Sessions are broken up by movement breaks of walking meditation or light yoga. After the 3rd stillness session is an hour lunch break.  Once the stillness sessions begin\, the retreats are silent for participants.  There is light talking by Richard to provide some guidance and contain the retreat structure until the conclusion of the 6th session. Tea to follow.  \nTo register please send a Venmo or Paypal registration fee of $10 to @RichardFabio. Please include the retreat date and your email in the notes section. The registration fee is non-refundable but you can roll it over into a future retreat if you need to cancel. \nIn addition\, it is customary to make a contribution on the day of the retreat in support of the facilitator’s time and energy (suggested $75-125).  If you are unable to make a contribution\, please reach out regarding scholarship opportunities. \nPlease write richard.fabio@gmail.com if interested in attending\, requesting more details\, or considering hosting additional dates.
