Storyline Series
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.” — Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird
This season, ArtsUp SC invites you to experience storytelling through every artistic lens. Our Storyline Series draws inspiration from the enduring words of To Kill a Mockingbird, weaving together performances that speak to justice, empathy, identity, and the heart of human connection. Join us for a journey of art, conversation, and community.

A Place to Create Together
ArtsUp SC brings together performing, literary, and visual artists to create collaborative experiences in unexpected places—libraries, coffee shops, galleries, and beyond. Ridge Gallery, our home base in downtown Spartanburg, is one such place: a vibrant hub for showcasing emerging and established artists alike, and the birthplace of ArtsUp SC itself.
We’re always looking to build new partnerships with artists, organizations, community leaders, and venues that want to help strengthen the Upstate’s creative landscape.
